Our Elders

Elders are pastors. Elder is the word most often used in the New Testament to refer to those qualified men who shepherd the local church. Elders are to be given to prayer and the ministry of God’s Word. They shepherd the flock by teaching sound doctrine, modeling Christ-like character, and leading the church with care, wisdom and humility.

Beulah Baptist Church recognizes that the Senior Pastor is a fellow elder, and they are committed to overseeing and feeding the flock in unity.

Dr. Casey Butner

Dr. Casey Butner

Dr. Casey Butner has been the pastor of Beulah Baptist Church in Winter Garden, Florida since 2016. Having a master's in theology and a doctorate in pastoral ministry, his passion is to preach and teach exegetically, verse by verse through the books of the Bible, and train men in righteousness. He is married to his adoring helper, Christina, who is equally passionate about the truth and homeschools their children while serving her husband and church wholeheartedly. They have four faithful and wonderful children who love God and others.

David Colson

David Colson

David is the husband to Teresa. David loves Bible study and doing home and hospital visits. On any given Sunday you will find David teaching a Men's Bible Study class and assisting in any way he can. One of his favorite scriptures is Romans 12:1-2.

Hal Epperson

Hal Epperson

Hal is husband to Melissa, father to Trey, and grandfather to Jacob, Riley, and Taylor Jo. Hal appreciates Beulah Baptist's high view of Scripture from the pulpit to the Bible study classroom to the mission field. You will find Hal team teaching Bible study on Sunday mornings during the 9:30am hour. One of Hal's favorite Bible passages is Proverbs 3:5-6.

Caleb Brown

Caleb Brown

Caleb is husband to Rebecca and father to Hannah, Abigail, Esther and Joshua. Caleb loves Bible study and serving the church in various ways. On a Sunday morning you will find him overseeing children's ministry, teaching a men's class, or simply enjoying the great fellowship of our dear church. Caleb's favorite Bible passage is Psalm 23.

David Parker

David Parker

David is husband to Tobie, father to Megan, Will and John, and grandfather to Maggie, Teddy, Zech, and Jane. David loves Christ and treasures His Word. On Sunday mornings, he enjoys teaching Bible study and worshipping our Savior. David's favorite Scripture is Philippians 3:8.
